Vocational skills demonstrations

Vocational skills demonstrations allow students to show their skills in practical work. The demonstrations are planned and organised in cooperation with employer’s representatives. Demonstrations are organised, whenever possible, during the on-the-job learning periods, and they can be held either at the student’s workplace or at school. Students will be granted a separate certificate for skills demonstrations.

Vocational skills demonstrations are graded. The demonstrations are assessed by the teacher and the student together and, whenever the demonstration is organised at the workplace, a representative of the employer. The teacher is, however, ultimately responsible for performance assessment. Demonstrations are graded 3 (excellent), 2 (good), 1 (satisfactory) or 0 (fail).
